Bankaku was established in 1889 in Nagoya. The history of EBI-SENBEI (shrimp crackers) goes back to EDO era of Japan. It is one of the ancient Japanese snacks which is traditionally home-baked from fresh mashed shrimps.

Back in 1889, the father of Bankaku, Mr Kakujiro Ban, invented a new cooking method for the shrimp cracker with the use of charcoal fire. The shrimp cracker is named “Yukari” which means “Ties and Relationships” in Japanese and "" in Mandarin. Bankaku’s products unite people’s hearts through their genuine taste.
